Our paste is made from just three ingredients: sugar, lemon and water. It goes on warm, not hot, grips only the hair and dead skin cells, and comes off in the direction your hair grows. For a sensitive area like the bikini line, that means noticeably less redness, less pulling and far fewer ingrown hairs than waxing, and the appointment itself is quick.
Arrive with about 1/4 inch of growth and skin that has not been exfoliated for a day or two. Your esthetician cleanses and lightly powders the area, then works the sugar paste in small sections, checking in on your comfort throughout. Because the paste is water-soluble, there is no sticky residue; we finish with a soothing, calming product and send you home with simple aftercare.

For most people, yes. Sugar paste is applied at body temperature, sticks to hair and dead skin but not to live skin, and is removed in the direction of hair growth. That means less pulling, less redness and far fewer ingrown hairs than waxing, which matters most in a sensitive area like the bikini line.
About 1/4 inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice, for a first visit. Sugaring can grip hair as short as 1/16 inch, so maintenance visits need less growth. If you shave, stop 10–14 days before your appointment.
Usually 3–5 weeks. Because sugaring removes hair at the root and in its natural direction, regrowth comes back softer and sparser over time, and regular clients often find they can stretch the gap between visits.
Before: skip exfoliating for 24–48 hours and avoid retinol on the area for a week. After: for 24 hours, no hot tubs, saunas, heavy workouts, tanning or tight synthetic clothing. From day three, exfoliate gently a few times a week to keep ingrown hairs away.
Yes to both. Skin can be a little more sensitive around your period, so some clients prefer to book a week before or after. If you are pregnant, just let us know so we can make you comfortable.
