Gratitude & Inner Warmth
For the month of November we are focusing on gratitude, with an emphasis on gratitude for ourselves. To truly accept the blessings and abundance that surround us, it often feels it requires some effort to enter into a space to be able to clearly see and feel these things. Sometimes it may feel it requires great effort to even begin to recognize we have things to be grateful for. To do this work, and to make ourselves open and become willing to accept the lessons and the blessings that life has to offer requires tremendous strength, vulnerability, receptivity and flexibility. To do this work is courageous and for choosing to do so we owe ourselves eternal thanks. We deserve the recognition we often crave directly from the source that craves it. We are all worthy and deserving of offering ourselves reassurance and in feeling self-assured. By allowing ourselves to confidently express our gratitude unto ourselves and into the world creates ripples that impact and affect everything in our immediate circle and beyond. The gift of expressing our gratitude and reverence for the subtle intricacies of our daily experiences is the gift that continually gives back to us and by honoring ourselves within the process we attune ourselves to a higher and higher frequency, thus attracting more abundance and more wonders to be grateful for. A true blessing.
We are truly grateful for the continuous opportunity to offer a safe, healing environment to you all and for the opportunity to share our gifts and show up to a space that feels just as comforting and nurturing to us as we hope it feels to you as well.
Thank you for continuing to show up for yourself and all of those around you!

Rituals for cultivating inner warmth
Eating seasonally and favoring warm and nourishing meals, with warming and grounding spices. Tis the season for curries, soups, stews, kitchari, porridges, oats, and so on. Earthy and grounding meals that are easy to digest, and assimilate, provide sustained energy and feature fruits and veggies in season to instill balance as you navigate the hustle and bustle of the holidays. An emphasis on preparing food intentionally and taking the opportunity to ground and slow down in both the process of creation and consumption. Perhaps gently asking yourself before and as you engage in these activities how you wish and hope savoring the act of preparation will make you feel and how you wish and hope that which you take in will support you.
Ignite and stoke internal fire by embracing the gift of breath. A warming breath practice to consider implementing in place of a cup of coffee, when in need of a bit of a boost to propel you into and throughout your day would be Kapalabhati. Kapalabhati is an exhilarating breath practice that emphasizes a forceful exhalation through the nose followed by a passive, natural inhalation. Find a comfortable seat, focus and engage the abdominal muscles pulling the navel up and in on your inhale and exhale sharply through the nose. Allow the inhalation to arise naturally, finding a rhythm that works best for you and your individual lung capacity. After finding a comfortable rhythm you can begin to gradually increase the pace at which you breathe and the number of breaths you take in each round. This breath practice assists in cleansing the respiratory passages, and strengthening the lungs. It reduces stress and provides mental clarity by enhancing focus and concentration. It delivers a natural boost of energy, tones abdominal organs and boosts circulation, assisting in lymphatic flow and bolstering the immune system. It is best practiced upon rising, with an empty stomach. Not to be embarked upon if you are pregnant, or have high blood pressure.
Weekly fire cupping therapy. A warming, oftentimes intense, and incredibly grounding ritual; fire cupping helps both our blood and lymph to circulate efficiently and releases stagnant energy. It soothes and calms the nervous system, and relaxes and unwinds tight and sore muscles. It actively supports the immune system and increases the ability to respond to environmental stressors in a healthier way by removing physical and energetic blockages and instilling harmony.
